Government in their orders 1st to 5th read above permitted direct recruitment of teachers through District Selection Committees. Government in G.Os 6th and 7th read above issued the Andhra Pradesh Direct Recruitment  for the Posts of Teachers (Scheme of Selection) Rules, 2012. Accordingly, Commissioner and Director of School Education, Hyderabad issued notification for recruitment of teachers, DSC-2012, in the reference 8th read above.

The matter regarding the unification of service  rules of teachers working in Government and MPP/ZP Schools is under appeal in the Hon`ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in C.A. No. 4888-4901/2009 passed the following order on 20-07-2009.

Similarly the matter relating to eligibility of  D.Ed/B.Ed candidates for SGT posts is pending in Hon`ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi in C.A. No.7479/2009. Further, the Hon’ble Supreme Court disposed of I.A. No.s 10 &  11 in C.A. No. 7479/2009, filed regarding DSC – 2012 notification, with the following directions on 25-04-2012.

Further, the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh in WPMP No. 33708/2012  in WP No. 26444/2012 filed by the Commissioner and Director of School Education against the order of APAT dated 23-08-2012 in OA No. 1466/2012 and batch issued the following directions on 24-08-2012.

The Commissioner & Director of School Education,Hyderabad, vide letters 5th and 6th read above, informed that the DSC-2012 teacher recruitment test was held on 26th, 27th and 28th August, 2012 and the results there of were released on 7th October, 2012 and requested the Government to issue guidelines and modalities for selection and appointment of teachers in pursuance of the teacherrecruitment test.

Government after careful examination hereby permit the Commissioner and Director of School Education to complete the recruitment process and appoint eligible candidates for various categories of posts in clear vacancies  only, subject to number of vacancies notified under each category, following provisions  of the Andhra Pradesh Direct Recruitment for the posts of Teachers (Scheme of Selection) Rules, 2012.

The detailed Guidelines for preparation of selection lists and issue of appointment orders to eligible candidates in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh Direct Recruitment for the Posts of Teachers (Scheme of selection) Rules 2012 are appended to this order as Annexure I. & II. In case of any conflict between the guidelines annexed to this G.O. and the relevant rules, the provisions of the rules shall prevail.

All candidates claiming benefit under disabilitycategory must produce certificates from the competent hospital as indicated in Annexure-II. The certificate date should be on or after the date of notification issued by the Commissioner & Director of School Education i.e., 30.01.2012. Any certificate issued prior to  the said date and or by any other hospital shall not be valid.

The Commissioner and Director of School Education, A.P. Hyderabad is directed to issue the schedule for verification of original certificates, preparation of selection lists and conduct of counseling for appointment of teachers and issue of posting orders to the selected candidates of DSC 2012.

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except SA (Physical Education) and PET for which selection shall be on the basis of written test (100%) only, duly following the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Direct Recruitment for the posts of Teachers (Scheme of Selection) Rules, 2012 issued in G.O.Ms.No.4, Education (PE-Ser.II) Department, Dt. 09-01 -2012 and G.O. Ms. No. 12 Education (PE-Ser.II) Department, Dt. 30-01 -2012

The District Educational Officer shall prepare with the approval of the District Selection Committee a provisional list to the extent of vacancies notified, for each category of post notified in DSC – 2012 on the basis of the merit list and publish the same on the notice boards of the offices of the District Collector and District Educational Officer and also on the designated website, along with the date, time and venue fixed for verification of certificates. The District Educational Officer shall also issue a press note in the local news papers for wide publicity in this regard.

The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (OLC&RDR) Order (Presidential Order) 1975 and amendments there to shall be followed strictly.The procedure to be followed in respect of 20% (non-local and local) and 80% (local) candidates may be made explicit to the District Selection Committee.

  2. is there any exact date for any merit list of DSC AND MODEL SCHOOL KINDLY PROVIDE SOON B'COZ MANY PEOPLE DEPEND THEIR CARRIER ON THAT JOB SO DON'T PLAY WITH THE EMOTIONS OF STUDENT...........................
