The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites Online Applications From eligible candidates for recruitment to Three Hundred & Thirty Four Posts of Medical Officer (General) in the Health and Family Welfare Department Govt. of Punjab


Post: Medical Officer in Health and Family Welfare Department
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay 5400 + NPA+ Allowances.
Essential Qualifications-
(i) M.B.B.S
(ii) Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council
in India; and
(iii) Knowledge of Punjabi Language of Matriculation Standard or its equivalent : Candidates who do
not possess this qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their
joining the service failing which their services shall be terminated.
Age: Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on the 01-01-2012. Upper Age relaxation to Reserved Candidates is applicable
